Our Story

The Brookton Community Resource Centre (CRC) has been an integral part of the Brookton Community landscape for over 25 years. It is just one small part of the CRC network that operates nationwide (there are more than 100 CRCs in regional WA alone).

Community Resource Centres are a hub for the community that are locally governed and locally staffed. In July 2022 the governance of the CRC changed from a Management Committee basis to under the Shire of Brookton.

Supported by the Department of Regional Development and the State Government's Royalties for Regions program CRC’s have the ability to provide greater access to government services, training and capacity building activities.
